If your target maintains eye contact with you for more than one second; the chances are they are interested. After initial contact; your target may look away briefly and then look back to meet your gaze a second time -- Green Light -- interest is clear. If these eye contacts trigger a smile; you should approach with confidence. Not a word may have been spoken; but you Know already to be confident! Now;... If they do not maintain eye contact; watch for signs of shyness before assuming lack of interest.
