A Donation jar labeled "Every penny helps" gets ten times the donations of the jar saying "Every dollar helps". The jar with "Your donation helps" gets only a fourth of the penny jar. Like how people will commit to a small favor and then be opened up to a bigger one - they decide to give - it is only a penny - then once they are giving, why not a bit more.
